Description

Is it a bug that iwinfo displays much lower rates in assoclist than iw displays in it’s station dump?

Release 31.

BTW, it would be useful to also show (human-readable) data transferred. This often works fine as a poor-mans traffic accounting.

What version of iwinfo is that? Are iwinfo and libiwinfo the same version?
I cannot reproduce the rate discrepancy here, bot iw dev ... station dump and iwinfo assoclist display the very same values for me.

I'm not going to include traffic counters as this info is not available with wl and madwifi.

I didn’t compile this. But it appears to be up-to-date?

Oh, and HW info. (Perhaps I’ll patch the bytes TX/RX in myself then.)

Apparently a similar discrepancy can be seen on my WL-500W with WMM on and 40MHz?

About the hardware support. I take it the philosophy of libiwinfo is to expose the common denominator that all drivers provide? But then even with the new free brcm drivers, wl and madwifi will never go away.

The other thing that would be interesting is survey data. But I suppose that is even less supported (only ath*k, at the moment?).

So, to make sure I compiled from everything from trunk and it’s still there
