Can you please attach a boot log file so we can fix this?

Comments:
In original FW switch present at eth0 with ETH MAC ADDR (:::::3C)
In OpenWrt it is eth1 and MAC is from usb port (::::3D)
but it can connect to Ethernet sockets.
robocfg & swconfig says "Failed to connect to switch"...
Direct echo to led ports (b43-phy0::...) does not turn on & off leds...
This board has 6 LEDs, but only 3 presents.

Can we use original Broadcom drivers (bcmprocfsSL2141I.o_save & bcm_enetSL2141I.o_save) instead OpenWrt 'bcm63xx_enet' ?

comment:5 Changed 4 years ago by florian

Please provide the output of "dmesg". No, we cannot use any driver from broadcom.

Yes,of course. I'll upload the dmesg output in a few minutes, but it's the same that is in bootlog... May be you want to see output of some others commands? I'm just connected to RTA1025W-16 via serial cable.

Hi,
I have the same issue.
MY box is SL2-141-i, i changed the board to RTA1025W_16 to flash it with OpenWrt (http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/gigaset/sl2-141-i) and after that it seems OK.
But i need to create VLANs to use 1 ethernet physical port as WAN. No need to use anymore the ADSL telephone port. WLAN is OK.

Now, i was working a lot trying to create a correct /etc/config/network file (lots of docs in web), but everytime i cannot make vlan working.
Then i noticed in/proc/switch/eth0 dir:
--> vlan_enable=0 ??
--> xxx file (don't remember) says this is a adm6996 chip.... --> not sure if there are some drivers missing
--> robotswitch module is OK

Not sure how is the architecture of this platform, i mean, if the internal switch is on eth0 or eth1... btw, i have only eth0 in /proc.

I see the previous post did not have updates.... if you request more logs, i can send them! I really want to find a solution for this!

Thanks!
