S60cron problem

Reported by: justin@… Owned by: developers
Priority: normal Milestone: 0.9/rc6
Component: packages Version:
Keywords: S60cron, init scripts Cc:

Description

The /etc/init.d/S60cron file seems to have a problem when it goes to create the $cron_root_file. As it loops through the files in $cron_root_realdir/*, it actually tries to include $cron_root_realdir/* in the $cron_root_file that is generated. Of course, since $cron_root_realdir/* isn't a file, it throws an error. The script portion that throws this error is here:

for root_cron_entry in $cron_root_realdir/*; do
   cat $root_cron_entry >> $cron_root_file
done

Adding a simple file test, as in the following script segment seems to fix the problem on my system:

for root_cron_entry in $cron_root_realdir/*; do
   if [ -f $root_cron_entry ] ; then
      cat $root_cron_entry >> $cron_root_file
   fi
done
