#2208 closed defect (wontfix)

Fonera MMC driver completely useless in later kamikaze revisions

Reported by: anonymous Owned by: developers
Priority: normal Milestone: Barrier Breaker 14.07
Component: packages Version:

The fonera driver last worked correctly around K7879, around K7954 the driver wouldn't work on the Fon2200 but wouldn't harm anything. At K7955, the driver causes the system to halt at boot with the Fon2200 (I've demonstrated that this has to do with hotplug changes and toggling GPIO6). Around K8360, the driver also fails to work on the Fon2100, yielding this:

What changes would be likely to reverse these conditions?

This is interesting. The driver worked with the fon2200 in 7879 originally, but if you checkout 7879 now, the driver doesn't seem to work anymore. I just compiled fresh, so this is becoming bizarre. The driver is the same ipkg.
