How to operate User selectable channel width - 40 MHz, 20 MHz, 10 MHz or 5 MHz for the whole supported frequency range?

The ticket system is not for support request. Regardless, the reason why we don't support these is that madwifi lacks support for it.

Why is this "wontfix"? When I see it is possible in this ticket:

You're right, wontfix doesn't fit very well. "not_a_bug" is a much better resolution for a support request that does not belong in a bug tracker ;)
Please don't reopen this almost a decade old ticket or any other equally pointless ones.
