Avahi hangs at rt_sigprocmask(SIG_UNBLOCK, [RT_1], NULL, 16) = 0

Description

I installed Avahi on two Linksys wrt54gl routers. On the router running Kamikaze 7.07, Avahi works perfectly. However on the router running Kamikaze trunk r10203, avahi-daemon -D never goes into the background and never publishes any records. Furthermore, avahi-daemon -h also never terminates.

strace reveals that avahi-daemon -h (and avahi-daemon -D) both hang at the same line: http://cgi.sfu.ca/~jdbates/tmp/openwrt/200801150/strace

I really appreciate running Avahi on my wireless router. Thanks for all your work, Jack

Mmm... this still does not work after several months :(

I have some Linksys WRT54GL with a recent (2008) build of Kamikaze on a running mesh network.

Today I compiled and installed remotely the following packages:

libexpat_1.95.8-1_mipsel.ipk
libdaemon_0.12-1_mipsel.ipk
libavahi_0.6.21-1_mipsel.ipk
avahi-daemon_0.6.21-1_mipsel.ipk

but avahi-daemon hangs without doing anything, and I have to kill it out with CTRL-C

any pointers to fix this ?

Workaround is that: Using uClibc-0.9.28.x, only uClibc-0.9.29.x has this problem.
