matrixtunnel 0.02 segfaults when run on i386 Alix build with libuClibc-0.9.29

Reported by: whotopia@… Owned by: developers
Priority: normal Milestone: Kamikaze 8.09
Component: packages Version:
Keywords: matrixtunnel i386 alix uClibc Cc:

Description

Openwrt compiled for i386 Alix with trunk revision 11609, Packages revision 11590. The Package matrixtunnel built properly, however when /usr/bin/matrixtunnel executed, it segfaults:

root@OpenWrt:/etc/init.d# matrixtunnel
matrixtunnel[2105]: segfault at bfaeaffc ip b7fc0b26 sp bfaeb000 error 6 in libuClibc-0.9.29.so[b7f83000+43000]
Segmentation fault

No other similar problems observed with other packages in our build.
I'm willing to debug with anyone who can help.

Problem also exists at svn revision 11768

Perhaps this problem is similar to those mentioned elsewhere regarding segfaults with uClibc-0.9.29 and packages like PHP and Asterisk. I will try to go back a version and rebuild with uClibc-0.9.28. However, apparently this approach may have it's own set of problems http://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?pid=70600). Suggestions?
