kamikaze 8.09 build on x86 halts on unconfigured kernel option - INPUT_APANEL

Reported by: mvalsasna@… Owned by: developers
Priority: normal Milestone:
Component: toolchain Version:

Description

building kamikaze 8.09 for x86, make hangs forevere on kernel/compile

when re-running make V=99, the kernel make oldconfig output scrolls, and halts on this line, waiting for user input. this happens twice during every build.

the build stops on this option, and continues by pressing enter

Fujitsu Lifebook Application Panel buttons (INPUT_APANEL) [N/m/?] (NEW)

can guess the option was left out from the kernel .config

must add that this causes the kernel to be recompiled even if no kernel option is touched in a openwrt's make menuconfig

Replying to mvalsasna@pdxeng.ch:

must add that this causes the kernel to be recompiled even if no kernel option is touched in a openwrt's make menuconfig

sorry, to be more precise, when I run make menuconfig, change some non-kernel related optinos (in this case, the filesystem size), and re-run make, the compilation process still halts twice on the INPUT_APANEL kernel configuration, but after hitting enter the kernel is not recompiled.

Is this still happening in latest trunk?
If so please post your .config at http://pastebin.com/ and give me the link to it.
