#5506 closed defect (fixed)

Kernel doesn't compile due to question asked about NET_EMATCH

Reported by: Maddes <maddes_trac@…> Owned by: developers
Priority: normal Milestone: Barrier Breaker 14.07
Component: base system Version: Trunk
Keywords: Cc:

Trunk rev: 16818
Feed "packages" rev: same as trunk, all packages installed
Feed "luci" rev: 5063, all packages installed
Feed "xwrt" rev: 4771, all packages installed

Question that stops the build process:

scripts/kconfig/conf -o arch/arm/Kconfig
.config:1365:warning: symbol value 'm' invalid for NET_EMATCH
  * Classification
Extended Matches (NET_EMATCH) [N/y/?] (NEW)

The kernel does not compile automatically as the above question pops up.
When you call make without V=99 then it just sits there and waits.
This is a problem for newbies that will wait forever for the compilation to finish.

Build Environment:
Debian 5.0
