dnsmasq.conf states wrong syntax for /etc/ethers

dnsmasq.conf states the following syntax for /etc/ethers:
# use /etc/ethers for static hosts; same format as --dhcp-host # <hwaddr> [<hostname>] <ipaddr> read-ethers
Anyhow it is not possible to make some sort of hostname allocation in /etc/ethers. The only way to make dnsmasq resolve these hostnames correctly is the use of /etc/hosts, which cannot be read by dnsmasq until others are given read permission to it.
