backfire 10.03 wndr3700: 2.4 GHz iface fails after a while

After some time of successful operation association with the 2.4 GHz interface is no longer possible. 5 GHz still works.

maybe thats related:

same thing just happened to me (can't tell which associations were active) with the same hard- and software; will report more when i find out more.
