kmod-usb-printer: usblp module doesn't create /dev/usb/lp0

Reported by: flight@… Owned by: developers
Priority: normal Milestone: Barrier Breaker 14.07
Component: packages Version:

Description

No /dev/usb/lp0 is created by the hotplug system when I plug in an LPT2USB converter (WGT634U running r5189).

Jan 1 01:25:42 (none) user.info kernel: usb 2-1: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 5
Jan 1 01:25:42 (none) user.warn kernel: ttyS0: 1 input overrun(s)

There's no /dev/usb/lp0, neither /dev/usb nor any other device.

The printer works fine when I create the device node manually:
mknod /dev/usb/lp0 c 180 0
