#8888 closed defect (no_response)

[PATCH] for miniupnpd, issue sendto(udp_notify=6, 192.168.1.1): No such device

Reported by: coatto87 <coatto87@…> Owned by: cshore
Priority: response-needed Milestone: Barrier Breaker 14.07
Component: base system Version: Trunk
Keywords: miniupnpd, sendto, udp_notify Cc:

Description

There is a patch for the issue:

[code]
OpenWrt daemon.err miniupnpd[6259]: sendto(udp_notify=7, 192.168.1.1): No such device
code

The issue is generated by the restart of network when we change wifi settings or another type of network settings.
So, the thing to do is only restart miniupnp when we restart network.

Your patch is not acceptable, either you need to create a hotplug script for miniupnpd for it to be restarted upon network connection state changes, or you need to move its starting after network is up and running.

Can you please verify if this still happens with miniupnpd 1.5 (it's in the packages feed for a few weeks now).
